Our
unique African basket is called "Kibo" (Chee-bo.) Hand crafted from
native grass, Papyrus reed and Banana fiber, the Kibo is a traditional
vessel used by the Baganda people of Uganda in East Africa. It is
considered indispensable to life in this part of the new world.
Brides in this culture are given a new Kibo on their wedding day in
order to gather and serve food for the family.
